AMP is an international product and design practice that focuses on strategy - and how modern products affect both the business that make them and those who use them.

AMP has two elements to its practice - consultancy and agency. The consultancy is focused on research, working with existing teams and vendors, audits and evaluations, founder and investor support, ways of working, coaching and modern product and product design leadership. The agency is focused on team-led briefs, product creation and execution.

Both elements of AMP focus on product being core to both the business and the user served by the business. This includes communications, brand strategy, user experience (UX), architecture (IA), narratives, interfaces, customer experience (CX), usability, research, ethics, sustainability - and how this directly affects modern business models.

AMP was founded by Rob Boynes as a way to continue the work created by his first agency (F&W, founded in 2012) which was created in response to new and evolving business models within traditional media companies. Rob exited F&W in 2014 to focus on venture capital-backed product-first start-ups, with a specific focus on SaaS, Open / Big Data, social network dynamics and behavioural economics. After seven years in high-growth product and design leadership roles between London, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco, he founded AMP to work on new modern ways of practicing design and product leadership within organisations.
